Done-In-A-Day is a series of concentrated projects that offer volunteers for community-based placements on a short-term basis. Volunteers can provide support at a variety of events including fundraisers, but volunteers may not solicit funds or goods for an agency prior to or during an event. Placements are scheduled in four-hour shifts.

Applicants are encouraged to make multiple requests throughout each application cycle and the year. For each shift and/or project, please submit a separate application.

The following application deadlines apply for the 2025-2026 year:

• FALL Cycle: Applications due June 27, 2025 for projects running September 1, 2025 through November 30, 2025
• WINTER Cycle: Applications due September 26, 2025 for projects from December 1, 2025 through February 28, 2026
• SPRING Cycle: Applications due January 2, 2026 for projects from March 1, 2026 through May 31, 2026
• SUMMER Cycle: Applications due March 27, 2026 for projects running from July 1, 2026 through August 31, 2026

Emergency applications must be submitted at least 45 days before the event. We cannot approve applications submitted less than 45 days before the event.
