Done-In-A-Day is a series of concentrated projects that offer volunteers for community-based placements on a short-term basis. Volunteers can provide support at a variety of events including fundraisers, but volunteers may not solicit funds or goods for an agency prior to or during an event. Placements are scheduled in four-hour shifts.

Applicants are encouraged to make multiple requests throughout each application cycle and the year. For each shift and/or project, please submit a separate application.

The following application deadlines apply for the 2026-2027 year:

• FALL Cycle: Applications due June 26, 2026 for projects running September 1, 2026 through November 30, 2026
• WINTER Cycle: Applications due September 25, 2026 for projects from December 1, 2026 through February 28, 2027
• SPRING Cycle: Applications due January 8, 2027 for projects from March 1, 2027 through May 31, 2027
• SUMMER Cycle: Applications due March 26, 2027 for projects running from July 1, 2027 through August 31, 2027

Emergency applications must be submitted at least one month before the event. We cannot approve applications submitted less than one month before the event.
