Done-In-A-Day is a series of concentrated projects that offer volunteers for community-based placements on a short-term basis. Volunteers can provide support at a variety of events including fundraisers, however, volunteers may not solicit funds or goods for an agency prior to or during an event. Placements are scheduled in four-hour shifts.

Please note that changes to how you can request volunteers for Done-In-A-Day have been made and you are now encouraged to make requests throughout the year. We hope giving agencies an opportunity to request volunteers multiple times in a year and not as far in advance will allow you to find other meaningful placements for our volunteers.

The following application deadlines apply for the 2022-2023 year:

• FALL Cycle: Applications due June 30, 2022 for projects running September 1, 2022 through November 30, 2022
• WINTER Cycle: Applications due September 30, 2022 for projects from December 1, 2022 through February 28, 2023
• SPRING Cycle: Applications due December 22, 2022 for projects from March 1, 2023 through May 31, 2023
• SUMMER Cycle: Applications due March 30, 2023 for projects running from June 1, 2023 through August 31, 2023

For multiple shifts and/or projects, please submit a separate application for each shift/project.

Emergency applications must be submitted at least one month before the event, in order to obtain approvals and recruit volunteers. We will not be able to approve applications submitted less than one month before the event.
